Created by comedian Alex Horne, Taskmaster is a smash-hit game show presented by Horne himself and Greg Davies. Hilarious and wildly entertaining, it follows five celebrities as they attempt to complete all sorts of eccentric and ridiculous tasks. Horne acts as umpire while Davies plays the titular role, judging the work in every challenge and giving out points based on performances.

Since its premiere in 2015, Taskmaster has proven to be a successful undertaking, spawning international versions including an Australian version, Taskmaster Australia.

But first, UK’s Taskmaster Season 18 is now streaming in Australia. Find out where to watch new episodes using this guide.

What is Taskmaster about?

Following Taskmaster Season 17, which featured comedians Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton, the smash-hit panel game show returns for a brand new instalment.

Of course, Taskmaster Greg Davies is back as the titular headliner. Alongside his loyal sidekick, Little Alex Horne, they’re set out to discover the new champion by testing the contestants’ skills and ingenuity.

Interestingly, they achieve this by coming up with the most outrageous tasks, which include long-distance painting, making the best extension to the Taskmaster house, making a music video for a nursery rhyme – the list indulgently goes on!

Apparently, the game series doesn’t run out of the funniest and most ruthless ideas for Britain’s various line-up of comedians to pull off.

For its eighteenth season, contestants featured in the show are: Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee and Rosie Jones.

A huge fan of the outrageously fun show? Fortunately, the new episodes from Taskmaster Season 18 are now available on streaming TV.

Throughout the years, the series has featured mainly comedians to perform tasks and games, including James Acaster, John Kearns, and Mo Farah, just to name a few.
