The ATP is the top-tier of men’s tennis, operating on a global tour throughout most of the calendar year. The tournaments are dotted around all four corners of the globe, stopping by the four obligatory Grand Slams, Masters 1000s events and ending in the illustrious ATP Finals tournament in Turin, Italy.
The season started in late December of 2023 with the United Cup, and will conclude with the ATP Finals in November of 2024. With over 50 tournaments on the ATP calendar, there’s seldom a week without tennis, and this guide will help you find the dates and broadcasters for the next ATP Men’s event that’s available to watch in Australia.
How to watch the ATP Tour live in Australia
The 2024 Australian broadcast rights for the ATP Men’s Tour are distributed between Stan Sport, and their free to air partner channel nine, and the beIN Sports channels.
The ATP TV rights for every domestic Australian tournament held in January (United Cup, Brisbane Intl, Adelaide Intl and ASB Classic), as well as the four Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open) are exclusive to Stan Sport, and will be simulcast on free to air Channel Nine.
And while the Channel Nine coverage of the four majors and Australian tournaments is not as complete as what’s available to Stan subscribers, it does include select on-demand replays of these same events on 9Now.
For comparison, the broadcast rights for every non-major and ATP tournament held outside of Australia belong exclusively to beIN Sports, and as such are available to stream via the beIN Sports online platform.
The list of live tennis fixtures on beIN Sports include the ATP Finals, the Davis Cup competition, and all other remaining ATP 1000, ATP 500 and ATP 250 tournaments held outside of Australia. Among the hotly contested competitions in this grouping includes the Dubai Tennis Championships, the Madrid Open, Shanghai Masters Open, and the affectionately named ‘fifth slam’, Indian Wells.
In Australia, tennis fans can watch beIN Sports and their programming by signing onto beIN Sports Connect directly and paying a relatively small monthly fee, or via their current 7-day free trial offering for new customers.
