What Does the Typical Evening Speed Mean?

The typical evening speed of NBN plans is a system designed to give customers an idea of how fast their connection will be during the busiest time of the day when many more customers will be using their internet connections for streaming video, gaming and other high-data uses. Outside of evenings, your connection speed is very likely to be much higher.

Is a Home Phone Included?

Yes, you can choose to have a home phone line included with your NBN service at an extra cost. It operates as a VOIP line over your NBN connection but uses your existing phone and phone number. Calls are pay-as-you-go.

Can I Get Unlimited Landline Calls?

While by default, Dodo Broadband’s landline is a pay-as-you-go service (you only pay for calls you make), you can also add call packs if you make a lot of calls from your home phone — international call packs are also available.

Does Dodo Broadband Supply a Modem?

Dodo offers customers the option to choose between using their own modem or purchasing one of the provider’s modems. New customers can purchase a new modem from Dodo for $79 with $20 off included. Opting for the BYO modem option won’t cost anything, but you will receive limited technical customer support, similar to customers who purchase a Dodo modem.

Is There a Delivery Fee for the Modem?

If you order your Dodo internet service, your modem will be delivered to your door completely free! Once your modem arrives, all you need to do is plug it in, and Dodo will sort out the rest. If you experience any issues or uncertainties regarding your new modem, you can receive remote testing and assistance from Dodo’s technical support team.
