The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship, the twenty-sixth running of the popular series, will see another season of Gen3, a new era described as “a design similar to that of a two-door muscle car, combined with a clean-sheet chassis configuration”.

How to Watch the 2024 Supercars Championship in Australia

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship officially starts on the 23rd of February with the Bathurst 500.

The 2024 Supercars championship season will visit seven different states and territories, in addition to a trip to New Zealand. The Championship will once again conclude in mid-November with the finale in Adelaide.

In total there will be a twelve rounds including the internationally famous Bathurst 1000, which takes place from 10-13 October, 2023. Also, for the first time ever, Taupo International Motorsport Park (New Zealand) will host a Supercars round from 19-21 April.

Here in Australia, the broadcast rights to the 2024 Supercars championship will be held by Fox Sports (Foxtel/Kayo) and the Seven Network. Fox Sports will have live coverage of all twelve championship weekends, while Seven will have live broadcasting of six events.

A single event, the Melbourne SuperSprint, will have limited live coverage on Channel Ten. Which means that seven championship weekends will have some form of live coverage on a free to air network.

Fox Sports Supercars TV coverage

Fox Sports (Foxtel/Kayo) will have comprehensive live coverage of all twelve championship rounds.

For comparison, the Seven Network, via channel 7 and 7Plus, will provide select live television coverage of six rounds. The races shown live on Seven include the Bathurst 500, Darwin Triple Crown, Townsville 500, Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 500 and Adelaide 500.

In most cases this live coverage is restricted to the practices, qualifying sessions and featured races held on Saturday and Sunday. The one exception to this rule is the Bathurst 1000, for which Seven will also show the Friday and Saturday practices live.

The six rounds not available live on channel 7 will be shown as condensed highlight packages on the Saturday and Sunday evening of that weekend’s racing.
