A new South Park special event, South Park: Joining the Panderverse, has been confirmed to stream this month. This is great news for South Park fans who may haven’t gotten over the fact that the latest South Park Season 26 ended after only six episodes. This year’s special event is the show’s fifth, coming after South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park The Streaming Wars, and South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2.

In the new South Park special, Cartman’s deeply disturbing dreams foreshadow that the life he’s always loved is coming to an end. In addition to the kids’ growing dilemma, the adults in South Park also find themselves in a pickle, the rise of AI complicating their own life decisions and turning their world upside down.
It’s worth noting that South Park has been renewed on Comedy Central through 2027, making it cable’s longest-running scripted series through a remarkable 30th season.
