Mike Judge, creator of Beavis and Butt-Head, and Silicon Valley star Zach Woods headline Peacock’s first adult animated comedy series, In the Know, a parody of National Public Radio (NPR). Specifically, it revolves around public radio’s third most popular host and his every hosting fiasco.

The radio host is Lauren Caspian, widely known for always embarrassing himself on air by spewing all things awkward and inappropriate. As a result, his career is hilariously built on cringey interviews with live celebrity guests, including Kaia Gerber, Hugh Laurie, Nora Jones, and many more.

And oh – Caspian is a puppet who’s always full of himself, working alongside the rest of the NPR staff who are also puppets. The celebrity guests, on the other hand, are so very real.

What is the plot of In the Know (TV show)?

Peacock’s new adult animation will parody NPR through radio host Lauren Caspian and the staff of the public radio show called ‘In the Know’. Caspian is the third most popular host, something he takes pride in.

On air, he regularly makes interviews with real-world human guests awkward, surprising them with inappropriate albeit hilarious slew of questions and comments. But Caspian isn’t mean – he’s just a hypocritical blowhard who doesn’t know when to stop talking.

Lead voice cast members Mike Judge and Zach Woods co-created and executive produced the stop motion comedy alongside Brandon Gardner. Greg Daniels, who adapted The Office for the US, and Dustin Davis also served as executive producers.
